Mom-Lovin Hop No. 20

Guys.... Its Hazel's FIRST birthday today. Excuse me while I compose myself out of the puddle I have become here on the floor, will you? My sweet baby girl. How I love her! A friend remarked to me last night that she thinks the Lord has given me a supernatural capacity to love. ((I think more truthfully, that dear friend is not yet a mother and she has not yet experienced the absolute love you can have for your own child)) But it was still sweet of her to say. And in a way I totally agree! I do believe I have a supernatural love for Hazel, and thank the Lord that I do, because this broken, run down heart is sure to disappoint Hazel someday. I need supernatural love. The Love that comes from the One who first loved me.
I pray that in this, her 2nd year of life, I would both show and teach her that love more and more.
((Check back tomorrow for my Birthday letter to Hazel))

Hope you all enjoy the Hop today! We are LOVING getting to know so many of you!

Our Guest Co-Host this week is one of my favorite gals!

Whitney blogs at Life Alaskan Style and is a wife, mother, who loves Jesus. . Her family resides in Alaska- I get lost in the photos she shares of their life in that beautiful state.

Carrie writes a life style blog. Her most recent post is a fall home tour- super fun! Another recent post is a collection of photos on how to wear a blazer. I don't know about you but blazers sort of intimidate me... Maybe that is just me... It's probably just me.

Joyful Life
